We are a Livery Company of the City of London; a philanthropic membership organisation which represents and protects the interests and welfare of pilots and navigators and strives to encourage and assist all those (from any background) who wish to become a pilot.

Across North America and beyond, our members assist, promote, and protect aviation excellence.

Assist

We assist those who wish to become pilots through scholarships, mentoring, networking and advice from experienced pilots across the US and Canada.

Promote

We promote the highest achievements and endeavour in the industry with our internationally recognised awards scheme, including the Master’s Trophy.

Protect

We strive to protect the interests of pilots regarding operational, training and flight safety matters through engagement with the FAA, Transport Canada, and other aviation organisations worldwide.

As a philanthropic organisation, we rely on membership subscriptions and donations to fund our work — to sponsor training of the next generation of pilots through scholarships, to inspire a passion for aviation in young people through youth gliding and careers presentations, to help maintain safety standards and practices, to find solutions to mitigate environmental impact, and to recognise and promote best practice and significant contributions to aviation.
